Customer Services

It is our objective to put the customer first and to ensure that the online shopping process is as straight forward as possible. Our Customer Service Team can be contacted by telephone or email and will be pleased to help you. Our telephone switchboard is open Monday to Friday from 0900 - 1300.

Ordering

Ordering any of our fire safety programmes could not be simpler. Choose the programme(s) that you want to buy and we will despatch them, normally within 24 - 48 hours of receiving your payment. All DVD's are despatched via Royal Mail 'Recorded Delivery', which from experience arrive the following morning. Overseas customers should contact us for postage costs.

Previewing DVD's

As you will have seen we offer several titles, but you may not be sure if a particular title will suit your training requirements or even be suitable for your premises. For customers in the UK only we offer a 7 DAY FREE APPROVAL* scheme which allows you to assess the suitability of the programme(s), before committing to purchasing. Please contact us on 01903 268000 to discuss your requirements.

Clients who have requested a title on approval, must ensure that it/they is/are returned by the date specified on the despatch note which can be found on the front of the packaging, The title(s) must be returned in the condition in which it/they was/were sent.

It is the Clients responsibility for ensuring that any title sent on approval is returned to us, we therefore suggest that you use Royal Mail 'Recorded Delivery'. Please retain any proof of posting, receipt or tracking number as we cannot accept responsibility until a member of our staff has signed for receipt of the goods.

If the title is not returned within the approval period, it is not returned, or is returned in poor condition, we reserve the right to charge payment in full.

In the event that you find that the approval period is insufficient you may request an extension, which must be before the approval period has elapsed.

Shipping and Delivery


We provide an efficient delivery service to customers in the UK via Royal Mail's 'Recorded Delivery' or 'Special Delivery'. We dispatch orders on weekdays only, Mon-Fri except Bank Holidays.  If an order is placed before 11:30 am it will be despatched the same day. However, we generally despatch programmes within 24 hours of receiving an order.

If your order does not arrive within 72 hours please contact us via telephone or email and we will track your package.


Discounts

All online DVD purchases automatically receive a 10% discount, for individual titles and 35% for on our DVD megapacks.  As the producers and copyright holders on our range of fire safety training DVD's we are able to offer substantial discounts on bulk purchases of any title or combination of titles. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.


Disk Care


DVD's are not indestructable! They require careful handling and cleaning, so we have produced a PDF 'Caring for your Disks' which can be downloaded by clicking here.
 

Faulty Goods

We offer a 12 month guarantee on our DVD programmes, If you experience problems with a DVD, within this period, we will replace the disk if it is found that the disk is faulty through a manufacturing defect. Most problems will manifest themselves immediately and you should contact us immediately for a replacement.

We will not replace disks which have been scratched or damaged by the user, through mishandling or cleaning disks incorrectly. Please refer to the previous section regarding looking after your disks.

Prior to despatch we 'quality control' DVD's to ensure that they are free from defects. They are checked on a portable DVD player, a PC and a 'set-top' DVD player. On occasions we have experienced compatibility problems with customers equipment, if you experience compatability problems then please contact us immediately.

We accept no responsibility for faulty disks causing disruption to training sessions in which they are used. It is the purchasers responsibility to check that disks are working correctly prior to use and to notify us if problems are encountered.
