Due to numerous requests from customers around the world we have now produced a version of A Warm Reception, which does not have any reference to UK legislation. As with the UK version this programme gives the user/trainer a more adaptable product and therefore the disc contains 4 different versions of the programme. This has been done to help trainers deliver training with an emphasis on fire safety or portable fire fighting equipment.
As with all previous versions of this programme, the key training message is about evacuating in a fire or similar emergency. Some of the topics covered include; Fire Doors

Version 1 - Full Length Programme (Duration - 18 minutes) This is a ‘catch all’ programme which covers all aspects of fire safety in hotels, it includes important information regarding the procedures that must be followed in the event of fire, from raising the alarm through to the evacuation of the hotel. This version includes crucial information about the considerations that are paramount when fighting a fire and a section which is dedicated to simple fire safety measures which will help reduce the chances of a fire starting. |

Version 2 - Short Version (Duration - 8 minutes) This short version is ideal for use as part of induction training or where time may be limited. It contains the core fire evacuation information, which will ensure that staff are aware of the procedures to be followed if a fire breaks out. |

Version 3 - No Fire Extinguishers (Duration - 16 minutes) This version recognises that many hotels do not encourage staff to attempt to fight the fire. Therefore this version focuses on the evacuation procedures and the fire safety measures that will help to prevent fires from starting. |

Version 4 - No Fire Safety (Duration - 16 minutes) This version includes the considerations before attempting to fight a fire, but does not include the fire safety section. This version is ideal for training those staff who may be involved in evacuating the hotel or as a reminder for any staff who have received training in the use of portable fire fighting equipment. |
